As a ridge averaging 30.10 inches continues to exit eastward, a warm front will sweep northeastward across Lake Erie after daybreak this morning. A low is expected to move generally eastward from the northern Great Plains to northern New York today through tonight and allow a cold front to sweep southeastward across Lake Erie overnight tonight. Behind the cold front, another ridge averaging 30.10 inches is expected to impact Lake Erie through Tuesday as the parent high pressure center moves from the Upper Midwest to southern New England. On Tuesday night through Wednesday, the ridge should begin to exit eastward and allow a warm front to sweep northward across Lake Erie.
