At 1027 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from 15 nm southwest of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port to 13 nm east of Ship Shoal 198 to 16 nm south of Ship Shoal 295, moving west at 5 knots.
