Through 500 am, areas of scattered showers will move northeastward across portions of the western Florida Straits, western hawk Channel, and the southeastern Gulf. A few showers will also pass through the Lower Keys. Additional isolated showers will move east at 15 to 20 knots over the Florida Straits between about 20 and 60 NM south of the Lower and Middle Keys. Brief bursts of moderate rainfall can be expected with any of these showers, along with reduced visibility and wind gusts up to 20 knots.
