It will then fall to 17.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 18.3 feet early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. * Impact...At 15.0 feet...Low areas near the junction with the Coosa River begin to overflow. Extensive flooding of low lying areas begins between US 231 and the river at stages of 15 to 25 feet.
