...Birmingham Radar Will Be Down for Planned Maintenance...

Maintenance has been completed at Maxwell (KMXX) and the radar has returned
to service.

The radar at Birmingham (KBMX) will be down on July 11th and 
possibly the 12th for the same radar maintenance and upgrades.  
Maxwell (KMXX) will be up during this time. 

These are upgrades that must be performed and have been coordinated 
to limit the impact to operations. It is possible that the radars may
only be down for one day each. Thank you for your patience. We 
apologize for any inconvenience these outages may cause.
