Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
1110 AM EDT Wed Apr 9 2025

High temperatures will rebound to between 40 and 50 degrees this
afternoon. This will be generally 10 to 15 degrees below seasonal
averages for early April. Other than a few scattered clouds, the
Commonwealth will see a mostly sunny day.

A weather system approaching from the Ohio Valley will spread a
mix of rain and snow into the state Wednesday night. The northern
tier and highest elevations of the Ridge and Valley Region will
probably pick up an inch or so of snow tonight and early Thursday
morning. Lows overnight will drop to chilly upper 20s north and
mid 30s for the south.

Periods of mainly light rain then continue into the weekend. Each
night, some snow may again mix in with the rain and could cause
a slushy coating on the higher elevations. Lows will continue to
run in the 30s and highs in the 40s to lower 50s will continue
into the weekend.
