.DISCUSSION...
Much colder and drier air filters into our area, as a Canadian high pressure
moves over West Virginia today and Wednesday. This will result in below normal
temperatures through Wednesday. A widespread freeze is
anticipated for tonight into Wednesday morning.
Gusty winds will continue across the area through this evening,
generally through Sunset, but become light overnight.
Winds will be light and variable in the morning Wednesday, but
will become southwesterly, with occasional gusts in the lower to
mid teens during peak heating hours.
The next system arrives Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing a
renewed likelihood for showers and chance for thunderstorms into
Thursday night, but additional heavy rain is not expected. Showers
may linger into next weekend, depending upon how quickly the system
moves out.
