An EF-1 tornado began southwest of Sikeston near FF Highway. 
There were several roof panels scattered about and power poles down 
south of the town of Browns. Moving east-northeast, the tornado damaged 
a few apartment buildings on Lawrence Street, then damaged the roofs of 
a nearby shopping center and fast food restaurant. Crossing US 61, the 
tornado did extensive roof and awning damage to a nursing home facility
on Col. George E. Day Parkway. The tornado then damaged the roofs of 
several homes in a neighborhood near Plantation Boulevard before dissipating at Ingram Road.
