...A COLD-CORE FUNNEL CLOUD REPORTED IN SOUTH CENTRAL SANTA CRUZ 
COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON...

At 445 PM MST, A trained weather spotter reported a cold-core funnel 
cloud near Mariposa Road and Interstate-19 in Nogales.

HAZARD...Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief 
         cold-core funnel clouds. This type of weak funnel cloud is 
         harmless and is not expected to touch the ground.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...This type of funnel cloud is harmless. If a funnel cloud is 
         spotted, move indoors and report your sighting to the 
         National Weather Service.

Locations impacted include...
Nogales.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 19 between mile markers 1 and 7.
 Route 82 between mile markers 1 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
