ALERT CANCELLATION 

A HEAVY RAIN ALERT PREVIOUSLY IN FORCE FOR THE EASTERN HALF OF VITI LEVU [FROM SERUA/NAMOSI THROUGH NAVUA TO NAUSORI, TAILEVU, NAITASIRI AND RA], 
NORTHERN DIVISION, CENTRAL AND NORTHERN LAU INCLUDING LOMAIVITI GROUP IS NOW CANCALLED.
 
Situation:
A weak trough of low pressure lies to the north of the group and continues to move away. Meanwhile, a southeasterly wind flow prevails over the group.

Forecast for Eastern Half of Viti Levu[ From Serua/Namosi thorugh Navua to Nausori, extending upto Tailevu north including interior of Tailevu, 
Naitasiri and Ra],Northern Division, Central and Northern Lau including Lomaiviti group:

Cloudy periods with some showers. Afternoon or evening thunderstorms with heavy falls expected. 
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
