...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN MARION...FAYETTE AND LAMAR COUNTIES...

At 120 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Needmore to near Glen Allen to 6 miles southwest
of Millport, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Winfield, Fayette, Vernon, Millport, Guin, Berry, Brilliant, Glen 
Allen, Kennedy, Belk, Gu-Win, Bankston, Bluff, Boley Springs, 
Blooming Grove, Lake Buttahatchee, Ashcraft Corner, Crossville, 
Twin, and Tucker.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread 
wind damage across Marion and Lamar Counties. SEEK SHELTER NOW 
inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.
 
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
