FOR EASTERN COLES...NORTHERN CRAWFORD...EDGAR...NORTHEASTERN
JASPER...CLARK...SOUTHERN VERMILION...EASTERN CUMBERLAND...
SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPAIGN AND EASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 117 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Vermilion Regional Airport to
near Chrisman to 6 miles south of Casey, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Danville, Paris, Georgetown, Westville, Tilton, Catlin, Chrisman, 
  Martinsville, Ridge Farm, and Edgar County Airport around 120 PM 
  CDT.
  Marshall around 125 PM CDT.
  Vermilion around 130 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Isabel, Murdock, Edgar, Clarksville, Annapolis, West York, York,
Longview, Yale, and Lincoln Trail State Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 119 and 154.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 211 and 220.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for southeastern
and east central Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
