FOR MONROE...WESTERN BROWN...SOUTHEASTERN OWEN...MARTIN...LAWRENCE...
EASTERN GREENE AND SOUTHEASTERN DAVIESS COUNTIES...

At 438 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bloomington to 6 miles northwest of Paoli, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Bloomington, Bedford, Shoals, Ellettsville, Mitchell, Loogootee,
Oolitic, Stinesville, Alfordsville, Smithville, West Boggs Lake,
Tunnelton, Lake Lemon, Beanblossom, Bartlettsville, Burns City,
Williams, Avoca, Monroe Reservoir, and Woodville Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for south central,
southwestern and west central Indiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
