...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN DONIPHAN...NORTHERN LEAVENWORTH...EASTERN
ATCHISON...SOUTHWESTERN BUCHANAN AND NORTHWESTERN PLATTE COUNTIES...

At 435 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles east of Lewis And Clark Village to near
Leavenworth, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
St. Joseph, Leavenworth, Atchison, Platte City, Weston, Elwood,
Rushville, Easton, Tracy, Lewis And Clark Village, Farley, De Kalb,
Iatan, Fort Leavenworth, Bean Lake, Stillings, Lewis And Clark Vi,
Beverly, East Leavenworth, and Lowemont.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 19 and 25.
 Interstate 435 near mile marker 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
