...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL NEW CASTLE...NORTHWESTERN SALEM AND WEST CENTRAL
GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 419 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pennsville, or
8 miles south of Wilmington, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Pennsville, Carneys Point, New Castle, Penns Grove,
Salem, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton, Swedesboro, Delaware City,
Beckett, Delaware Memorial Bridge, and Wilmington Manor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
