...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN CHEMUNG...TIOGA AND SOUTHEASTERN TOMPKINS COUNTIES...

At 608 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Van Etten, or 9
miles north of Waverly, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Barton, Waverly, Owego, Erin, Litchfield, Berkshire, Newark Valley,
Candor, Spencer, and Wellsburg.
