  S of Cape Lookout NC to Surf City NC out to 20 nm...
  S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 nm...

* Until 130 PM EDT.

* At 1249 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Harkers
  Island to near Cape Lookout Bight to near Ar285 to near 14 Buoy,
  moving north at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Drum Inlet, The Vicinity Of Adams Creek, Beaufort Inlet, R-8 Buoy,
  14 Buoy, Beaufort, Cape Lookout Bight, The Knuckle Buoy, The
  Vicinity Of Atlantic, Harkers Island, Ar285, Ar275, The Vicinity Of
  South River, The Vicinity Of Davis, and Cape Lookout.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
