  Coastal Waters from Montauk NY to Marthas Vineyard extending out to
  20 nm South of Block Island...
  Narragansett Bay...
  Rhode Island Sound...
  Vineyard Sound...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 1116 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 nm northwest of Charlestown to near Point Judith
  Light to near Rhode Island Sound, moving northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 knots. Torrential rainfall will 
           reduce visibility. Frequent cloud to ground lightning.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sakonnet Point Light, Mount Hope Bay, Point Judith Light, Rocky
  Point, Quonset Point, Melville, Greenwich Bay, Popasquash Point,
  Plum Beach Light, Buzzards Bay, Dutch Harbor Light, West Island In
  Buzzards Bay, Castle Hill Light, Cuttyhunk Island, Narragansett
  Bay, Round Hill Point, Horseneck Beach, Warwick Light, Bristol
  Harbor, and Rhode Island Sound.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
