* Until 715 AM EDT.

* At 517 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 nm south of Detroit Island to 17 nm southeast of
  Cana Island Light, moving east at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in 
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  South Fox Island, Sleeping Bear Point, Leland, Point Betsie, Glen
  Arbor, Pyramid Point, South Manitou Island, North Manitou Island,
  Grand Traverse Light, Cat Head Point, and Empire.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent to nearly constant lightning is occurring with these 
storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, 
keep away from ungrounded metal objects.
