...THE THREAT FOR BLOWING SNOW ACROSS MEKORYUK HAS DIMINISHED...

Northerly winds and snow across Nunivak Island have trended 
downward the past few hours with improved visibility. Periods of 
additional snow and gusty northerly winds below 20 mph will be 
possible through this afternoon, but overall conditions are 
expected to gradually improve through tonight as a surface low 
immediately east of the Mekoryuk meanders southward and out of the
region.
