...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN YUKON-KOYUKUK
THROUGH 800 PM AKDT...

At 729 PM AKDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 49
miles east of Tanana, or 51 miles northwest of Nenana, moving west at
5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Yukon-Koyukuk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
