...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL WALKER...EASTERN
TUSCALOOSA...NORTH CENTRAL BIBB AND SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES
THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
North Johns, or 8 miles west of Hueytown, moving west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Lake View, Brookwood, Coaling, Sylvan Springs, Vance, Woodstock, West
Blocton, North Johns, Tannehill Ironworks State Park, Bull City,
Abernant, Lake Wildwood, Concord, Mercedes Benz Of Alabama, Bankhead
Lock And Dam, North Bibb, East Brookwood, Green Pond, Caffee
Junction, and Bucksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
