...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN EL PASO COUNTY THROUGH
900 PM MDT...

At 836 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cascade, or 8 miles northwest of Colorado Springs, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Western Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls,
Crystola, Chipita Park, and Cascade.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
east central Colorado.
