...A cluster of strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Burke 
and southeastern Richmond Counties through 315 PM EDT...

At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong 
thunderstorms centered near Waynesboro. This storm was nearly 
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40-50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Waynesboro, Plant Vogtle, Hephzibah, Sardis, Midville, Alexander,
Burke County Airport, McBean, Gough, Blythe, Keysville, Girard,
Vidette, Di-
Lane Wildlife Management Area, Magruder, Bennock Mill, Shell Bluff
Landing, Shell Bluff, Ellwood, and Rosier.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
