...Showers and Decaying Showers with Gusty Winds...

Exiting showers across the eastern portions of the area and 
decaying showers across western Kansas may yield some wind gusts
of 40-55 mph over the next hour or so. Wind gusts around 40 mph
have been observed at the Goodland and St. Francis Airport, and
even a 55 mph wind gust was reported 16 miles northwest of
Goodland.
