...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SUMNER COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 403 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 5 miles northwest of South Haven, or 9 miles northeast
of Caldwell, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Sumner
County, including the following locations... Mayfield, Hunnewell,
Wellington Airport, and Perth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central Kansas.
