BENZIE...WESTERN GRAND TRAVERSE AND NORTHEASTERN MANISTEE COUNTIES
THROUGH 745 AM EDT...

At 658 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Thompsonville, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Traverse City, Thompsonville, Bingham, Suttons Bay, Cedar, Lake Ann,
Copemish, Greilickville, Lake Leelanau, Mapleton, Grawn, Karlin,
Interlochen, Bendon, Interlochen State Park, Fouch, Wallin, and Good
Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
