...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MARSHALL...NORTHERN
BELTRAMI AND SOUTHERN LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM
CDT...

At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Skime to near Carp. Movement was east at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gatzke, Norris Camp, Malcolm, Carp, Gates Corner, Faunce, and Oaks
Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
north central and northwestern Minnesota.
