SOUTH CENTRAL HUMPHREYS...EAST CENTRAL SHARKEY AND MADISON COUNTIES
THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 326 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of Holly Bluff to 6 miles north of
Benton. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Yazoo City and Benton around 330 PM CDT.
  Tinsley around 335 PM CDT.
  Little Yazoo around 340 PM CDT.
  Vaughan and Myrleville around 345 PM CDT.
  Bentonia and Way around 350 PM CDT.
  Canton and Sharon around 410 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
