...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN PIKE AND
SOUTHEASTERN AMITE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT
...

At 443 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Gillsburg, or 12 miles southwest of Mccomb. These
storms were nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mccomb, Magnolia, Osyka, Gillsburg, and Mccomb Airport.

This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and
18.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
