COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM EDT...

At 342 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong 
thunderstorms extending from near Lake Townsend east-northeast to 
near Roxboro, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Burlington, Graham, Roxboro, Mebane, Elon, Rougemont,
McLeansville, Concord, and Gibsonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead 
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.

These thunderstorms are producing an excessive amount of deadly 
cloud to ground lightning. Seek shelter indoors and stay away from 
windows. If you cannot seek shelter indoors, an enclosed vehicle can 
provide safe shelter. Deadly lightning strikes can occur well ahead 
of an approaching storm, prior to the arrival of rain and wind.
