...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ALEXANDER AND
NORTHERN IREDELL COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 647 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Statesville, or 7 miles southeast of Love Valley. This
storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Harmony, Love Valley, Turnersburg, Olin, Union Grove, Cool Springs,
and Vashti.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
