NORTHWESTERN LINCOLN...NORTH CENTRAL CLEVELAND AND SOUTHEASTERN BURKE
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 649 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southwest of Hickory, or 7 miles southwest of Mountain View,
moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Icard, Connelly Springs, Casar, South Mountains State Park,
Rutherford College, Hildebran, Mountain View, Valdese, Belwood, and
Cooksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
