...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SAMPSON...CUMBERLAND
AND EAST CENTRAL HOKE COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rex to near St. Pauls to Tolarsville.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Hope Mills, Eastover, Stedman, Wade,
Autryville, Vander, Bushy Lake Natural Area, and Cedar Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
