SOUTHERN BARNES AND NORTHWESTERN RICHLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM
CDT...

At 1254 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near McLeod to near
Montpelier. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lisbon, Enderlin, Walcott, Litchville, Sheldon, Fingal, and Fort
Ransom.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 94 in North Dakota between mile markers 272 and 282.
 Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 272 and 282.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for southeastern
North Dakota.
