HOOKER...SOUTHERN BROWN...NORTHWESTERN BLAINE AND NORTHERN THOMAS
COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM CDT/1030 AM MDT/...

At 1045 AM CDT/945 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of
Johnstown to near Mullen. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mullen, Thedford, Seneca, Brownlee, Elsmere, Purdum, Hofeld Lake,
Raven, Moon Lake, Willow Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Long
Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 83 crossing the North
Loup River, Norway, Highway 97 crossing the Dismal River, Jones Lake,
Giant Hill, and Kelso.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 180 and 213.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 50 and 78.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 147 and 176.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
