COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles northeast of Rose
to 13 miles southwest of Long Pine. Movement was south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rose, Hofeld Lake, Fox Bayou, Raven, Duff, Horseshoe Bend Lake,
Hannamon Bayou Campground, Sybrant, Jones Lake, Twin Lakes State
Wildlife Management Area, Valley View Flat Campground, and Johnsons
Corner.

This includes Highway 183 between mile markers 134 and 169.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until 400 AM CDT for north central Nebraska.
