...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GARFIELD AND
SOUTHERN WHEELER COUNTIES THROUGH 215 PM CDT...

At 124 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ericson, or 15 miles northeast of Ord, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bartlett, Ericson, and Pibel Lake State Recreation Area.

This includes Highway 281 between mile markers 132 and 146.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
