...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN PHILLIPS...SOUTHEASTERN
FURNAS AND HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 941 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Long Island, or 15 miles northeast of Norton, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Long Island around 945 PM CDT.
  Woodruff around 950 PM CDT.
  Alma around 1000 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include Republican City and
Harlan County Dam.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
