...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL WASHOE COUNTY
THROUGH 700 PM PDT...

At 627 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Doherty Slide Hang-Gliding Launch, or 33 miles
west of Dufferena, moving northwest at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Calcutta Lake and Yellow Peak.
