AND BRONX COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 851 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Stamford, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Yonkers, Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, New Rochelle, White Plains,
Milford, Shelton, Port Chester, New Canaan, Rye, Newtown, Fairfield,
Greenwich, and Stratford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
