...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Fairfield County through 900 PM EDT...

At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Monticello, or 8 miles northeast of VC Summer Nuclear Station, moving
north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Fairfield Elementary School, Lebanon Fire Station,
Feasterville Fire Station, White Oak, Fairfield County Detention
Center, and Blackstock.

This includes Interstate 77 near mile marker 50.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

If on or near Lake Monticello, get out of the water and move indoors 
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles 
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not 
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
