...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern
Rockwall, southwestern Hunt, Kaufman, northwestern Van Zandt,
northeastern Ellis and southern Dallas Counties through 815 PM CDT...

At 725 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles north of New Terrell City Lake to near
Combine to Desoto. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Desoto, Lancaster, Terrell, Seagoville, Glenn Heights, Red Oak, 
  Wilmer, Ovilla, Crandall, and Ferris around 730 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Heartland, Ike,
Rand, Ola, Alsa, Lawrence, Elmo, Oak Grove, Sand Branch, and Rockett.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35E between mile markers 397 and 420.
 Interstate 20 between mile markers 462 and 514.
 Interstate 45 between mile markers 255 and 279.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
