WHARTON...JACKSON...WESTERN BRAZORIA AND MATAGORDA COUNTIES THROUGH
530 PM CDT...

At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Inez to Matagorda. Movement was northeast
at around 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Matagorda, Bay City, El Campo, Edna, Palacios, South Texas Nuclear
Plant, Ganado, La Ward, Lolita, Blessing, Markham, Van Vleck,
Cordele, Vanderbilt, Louise, Midfield, Wadsworth, Morales, Lake
Texana Dam, and Danevang.
