AM CDT...

At 1112 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of scattered 
strong thunderstorms extending from 9 miles southwest of Augusta to 
6 miles north of Star Prairie, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Eau Claire, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, New Richmond, Altoona, Lake 
  Hallie, Stanley, Bloomer, Barron, Amery, Lake Wissota, Somerset, 
  Osceola, Chetek, Cumberland, St. Croix Falls, Baldwin, Hammond, 
  Cameron and Augusta.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening 
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
