...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN COLUMBIA...SOUTHERN
MARQUETTE AND NORTHEASTERN SAUK COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CDT...

At 912 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Westfield to 10 miles north 
of Portage to 8 miles east of Wisconsin Dells. Movement was east at 
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Portage, Montello, Packwaukee, Mecan, Oxford, Endeavor, Briggsville,
and Glen Oak.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 96 and 103.
 Interstate 39 between mile markers 88 and 109.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
