* At 623 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Fredonia to Sperry to near Fountain Green,
  moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

  Davenport, Rock Island, Burlington, Muscatine, Monmouth, Aledo,
  Wapello, Columbus Junction, Oquawka, West Burlington, Burgess,
  Walcott, Mediapolis, Blue Grass, Buffalo, La Harpe, Andalusia,
  Roseville, Fruitland, and Viola.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 285 and 290.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 11.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in the Quad Cities.
