The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  North central Allamakee County in northeastern Iowa...
  Southeastern Houston County in southeastern Minnesota...
  Southwestern Vernon County in southwestern Wisconsin...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 718 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located over New
  Albin, or 11 miles northwest of Lansing, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  north central Allamakee, southeastern Houston and southwestern
  Vernon Counties, including the following locations... West Prairie,
  Highway 56 And County N, Red Mound, Romance, County 5 And Peyton
  Road, Purdy, and Victory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
