The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Aitkin County in east central Minnesota...
  East central Crow Wing County in east central Minnesota...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 524 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Deerwood, or 15 miles northwest of Mille Lacs
  Lake, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Crosby, Aitkin, Ironton, Deerwood, McGregor, Cuyuna, Tamarack,
  Mille Lacs Band East Lake Area, Cedar Lake, Wolford, Kimberly,
  Trommald, Sheshebee, Gun Lake, Lawler, Ripple Lake, Rice Lake
  Wildlife Refuge, Hassman, Rossburg, and Farm Island Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
