The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Webster County in southwestern Missouri...
  North central Christian County in southwestern Missouri...
  Greene County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 929 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Willard, or 8 miles north of Republic, moving east
  at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Elkland, Glidewell, Fremont Hills, Turners, Bois D'arc, Fair Grove,
  Cave Springs, Seymour, Ebenezer, Strafford, Bassville, Fordland,
  Willard, Northview, Brookline, Springfield, Niangua, Marshfield,
  Diggins, and Rogersville.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 66 and 109.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
